Shelby is an Aussie/Golden Retriever mix that is about 2 years old. Shelby is a very shy young lady, but warms up to people fast. Shelby has been learning that life isn't so bad, and has been showing improvement as far as her confidence goes. Shelby has shown us that she has had a rough life she knows wrong from right, but still cowards slightly with an easy correction. Shelby needs to be around people and can be found close by. She gets a little anxious when you disappear behind a door, but she has stopped whimpering and clawing at said door, and will lay down outside the door. At bedtime she can be found either sleeping on the bed or on the floor next to the bed. Shelby is house broken and uses the doggie door, in fact she has figured out how to lift the closed doggie door up if it is not locked. Shelby gets along with other dogs, except small dogs that are very active, she is also interested in cats, so for those reasons Shelby would need a home that does not have cats, small dogs, or small animals. So if you are the home that can provide Shelby with lots of love, loads of confidence building, and have no cats, small dogs or small animals, Shelby is the gal for you. Shelby's adoption fee is $125.00 which includes spay, microchip, current DHPP and Rabies. License transfer is extra and will be collected at time of adoption.
